I am using Fedora 2 with 0.10 Firefox and it works well. I would make 
certain you completely uninstalled old versions of Firefox. On linux 
that means deleting all the program files in the Firefox directory. The 
problem is probably due to an old profile with a new Firefox build. Look 
for the folder .firefox in your home directory and delete it. Then 
reinstall firefox.
