Don't copy binary files, it's like running with a pair of scissors :-)

Export to a LDIF text file and re-import this instead.

On Windows NT, Mozilla uses a default profile located somewhere around

		%AppData%\Mozilla\Profiles\

(Start menu, Run... and copy-paste the above in the dialog box to find 
out where this maps to on your system)

The first thing I do usually is to create a 2d profile so that you get 
the wizard and the dialog box allowing you to choose another profile 
directory in a more suitable place (such as something else than the 
%SystemDrive%), then when you're running, delete the original profile 
which defaults to %AppData%\Mozilla\Profiles\
