Files should be in the same format (mbox format)

so locate where Thunderbird stores your Inbox, exit the program, and 
drop a copy of your Eudora mbox file nearby under a separate name... 
this should do the trick.

Usually Mozilla rebuilds an index on the file the first time you access 
it. You may loose some minor flags/status, such as read/unread, replied, 
etc.
