mozilla displays wrong page

A Google search has failed to suggest an answer, hence this post.

Am running Mozilla 1.7.3 under Fedora Core 2. The PC in question is also
an Apache web server, but this has never been an issue. A few days ago
Mozilla started having a problem. It now displays all web pages just fine
except for one. When one particular outside web page's URL is entered, it
displays one of the locally hosted web pages instead. Have gone though the
following to rout out the problem.

1. Have checked DNS on the PC - it is fine. Pinging the outside name
renders the correct IP address.
2. Have checked the Hosts file - there are no errant entries that would
override DNS.
3. Have cleared Mozilla's cache and cookies several times. Have closed and
restarted Mozilla, and even restarted the PC. No help - www.abc.com still
brings up www.xyz.com.
4. Checked other PCs behind the router. All other boxes (4 of them,
Windows & Linux) bring up the correct web page. 
5. Installed an alternative browser on the PC in question. Opera installed 
fine and works perfectly - the correct web pages come up. 
6. Tried various settings in Mozilla's Preferences - nothing helps. 
7. Am confident that the outside web page is fine and that the Apache server 
internally is configured and running correctly.

It obviously appears that Mozilla has something stuck within itself
somewhere, but what? Suggestions welcome.
