The following packages will be a requirement for building with SVG 
enabled (which we hope to turn on by the next beta):

   * freetype (http://freetype.org/) 2.1.0 or later
   * fontconfig (http://fontconfig.org/)
   * pkgconfig (http://freedesktop.org/software/pkgconfig/) 0.9.0 or later

The unix build instructions have been updated.
