Somehow, I managed to screw things up with Mozilla so I 'recycled' my
preferences directory (renamed ~/.mozilla to ~/.mozilla_broken) and
restarted Mozilla. Now the Emacs like bindings are back. I did managed
to recover my bookmarks and am in the process of re-creating my stored
passwords. So I guess there is something deep in the heart of the stuff
under ~/.mozilla that controls the key-bindings (for text entry areas).
And it does not seem to be documented anywhere.
