I'm warming up this old thread to confirm that postscript printing
indeed works. After finding out that it works for some users, but not
for others, digging deeper showed that "print.postscript.enabled"
was set to "false" in prefs.js.

Typing "about:config" in the URL field and changing this setting to
"true" enables postscript printing immediately.

Maybe it helps others as well.
