custom skin to hide OS field

Hi,

I've seen several references that I can use a custom skin to hide fields in
the bug creation and report, but I honestly have no clue how to do this.
https://bugzilla.readthedocs.io/en/5.0/integrating/skins.html just shows
how to create the custom skin.
How do I change the display/hidden value of rep_platform or os?
How do I even access the correct fields?
Where to put it? buglist.css or global.css?
