Bugzilla 5.0.6 ./checksetup issues error MySql 8.0 syntax error

Hello,

I have loaded a clean version of Bugzilla 5.0.6 with a clean version of Mysql80. I have completed the installation of Bugzilla and attempted to run .checksetup.pl and get the following error:

DBD::mysql::db selectrow_hashref failed: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'groups WHERE name = 'editbugs'' at line 1 [for Statement "SELECT groups.id,groups.name,groups.description,groups.isbuggroup,groups.userregexp,groups.isactive,groups.icon_url FROM groups WHERE name = ?"] at Bugzilla/Object.pm line 161.
        Bugzilla::Object::_load_from_db('Bugzilla::Group', 'HASH(0x967f270)') called at Bugzilla/Object.pm line 82
        Bugzilla::Object::new('Bugzilla::Group', 'HASH(0x967f270)') called at Bugzilla/Install.pm line 216
        Bugzilla::Install::update_system_groups() called at ./checksetup.pl line 182

I have looked at the Bugzilla/Object.pm file and the information listed in the error message isn't present within the Bugzilla/Object.pm file.

Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. I am running RHEL 7.9 OS.
