Pages fail to load

When trying to access E-bay, The initial page loads OK, but trying to 
access
consequent pages reults in the message "Page cannot be displayed, check 
your
browser setting" Browser setting are set to allow first and third party
cookies *always*, but this makes no difference, I have tried different
settings without satisfactory result. Suspect security settings but again
adjusting these does not correct situation. At presetn I am running AVG
Virus Protetion and Tesco firewall.
Removed Pop-up Blocker but problem still exists. Can anyone please help?
