No actually that is starting up from a cold boot (ahh haa thought you 
had one of those newbie's around).

Reboot means you have a system crash which causes you to have to do a 
system restart. (on PeeCee machines it ctl-alt-delete). ON OSX I've 
actually forgotten how to restart. And I haven't used OS9 in so long 
I've forgotten how to as well there.

Now when I nstall software the installer automatically does a restart.

And if use a Mantainence program such a Oynxy. It does an auto Restart 
after it complete task.

But day to day its once on and once off. And if a program dies, you just 
click on it and restart and go on about your business (though I don't 
see that often.)
