While I don't really consider Mozilla to be "plain vanilla," I, too, use 
it over Firefox.  I've tried Firefox and it's perfectly okay, but I use 
Mozilla because of its other features, such as the mail and news 
clients.  I prefer the suite concept over the FF + TB concept, so 
Mozilla is just a better fit for me.

I've wondered the same thing.  Everywhere you look it's Firefox this, 
Firefox that!  I don't have anything against FF, but I just don't get 
why it's being pushed to such a degree while Moz is left languishing 
quietly in the background.
