Hmmmm... FireFox is a 4.7M download.  Thunderbird is a 5.8M download for 
a total of 10.5M.  The Mozilla Suite is 11M, a whopping .5M bigger than 
the two combined!  Plus, I seem to get better integration between the 
mail, news and browser.  Plus, I have the composer too (which I do use).

Add to that all of the missing features of Mozilla Browser that you have 
to add to Firefox to get equal functionality (eg. limiting animated GIFs 
to a single iteration) or some features that aren't even available in 
Firefox (those widgets that allow you to expand or contract the toolbars 
at the top of the browser) and that .5M difference is a nit.

If you want JUST a browser, then sure... 4.7M makes a big difference 
over 11M.  If you want JUST an E-Mail/News client then sure... 5.8M is 
still quite a bit smaller than 11M.  But if you want BOTH, then saying 
they are considerably smaller than the suite just doesn't hold water.
