netscape 7.2 wont run

Hi all...
In order to get all my 7.1 email into Outlook, I installed Netsc 4.7, 
exported them into Outlook express, then imported them into Outlook. All was 
fine. I uninstalled 4.7 and upgraded to 7.2 and uninstalled 7.1.
Then the problems started. The 7.2 icons on my desktop and on my taskbar 
would not start the program (nothing would happen). Using the start menu did 
work.
I uninstalled 7.2 and deleted all references I could find in the registry 
(netscape, mozilla, ns_temp) as well as all the folders that were NOT my 
local folders.
I reinstalled 7.2, and the programs will not start, even from the start 
menu.

Any idea how to get 7.2 to run again? I would hate to have to go to Outlook.
