xp pro installed, firefox will only work in safe mode

I installed xp pro and now firefox will only work in safe mode. When I open
it normally it is a all white screen with none of the book marks it should
have. Also I can not get any of the buttons to work. They are all shoved up
on the left had side with no borders. Can anyone help me fix this? I have
removed and reinstalled it several times, older versions and the new one.
