cant save to address book in thunderbird

Heya

I have tb 1.0 and like it so far, a little clumbsier than forte agent but hey. one problem is that I
cant save any new cards to my address book. I gives me the form to fill out names and whatnot but no
ok or save button and if I just exit I loose it.

now if I go to one of the cards that was imported from outlook then edit the entry I do have an
enter button to save the addy. so all I can do is use the cards that I had imported from out look, I
cant add any new entries.
