NS 8.x is a browser only. No email. No news service. Nada, nothing, just a browser. To answer your question more directly, there is no migration path from NS 7.x to NS 8.x if you expect full functionality having used the multiple functionality of NS 7.x. Now, if all your friend wants is a browser, and isn't asking for any answers about mail and news, great. Someone here will surely explain how to migrate data from her NS 7.x browser to the new NS 8.x one. -- Ed Mullen http://edmullen.net http://edmullen.net/Mozilla/moz.html
