I may have this wrong but... I use Mozilla (seamonkey) for both the web browser and the email client. This runs one instance of the gecko rendering engine. If I were to run Firefox *and* t-bird for the same functionality, wouldn't I be running two instance of gecko (and, therefore, twice the resources?) -Sparky
