ReInstall (almost) All Extensions in FireFox 1.6

Somehow, all my extensions are not working after I upgraded FireFox
from 1.0.5 to 1.0.6. THey all show as installed & not disabled (right
down to properties if one right clicks, &c), but simply don't exhibit
the actual behaviors expected of them. However, when I reinstall them
manually (back as the same version already installed) or when a later
version is installed from the AutoUpdate feature, it works again.

Since I've a LOT of extensions installed, I'd love to get that
AutoUpdate feature to just download & reinstall everything. But, for
the life of me, I can't figure out how to get it to reinstall those
things that seem to be installed & don't have the next version out yet.

Does anyone out there know how to do this?

Thanks in advance =)
