Nope, doesn't happen to me.  I tried it with FF 1.0.7 and Moz 1.7.12, 
on Win98.  Try FF in Safe Mode.  If no crashes, then its an extension 
or theme causing the problem.  If it crashes in Safe Mode, try 
creating a new profile and see if that causes any problems.  To create 
a new profile, click on Start, Run and enter:

firefox.exe -p

exactly as I have.  This will bring up the profile manager and you can 
create a test profile from there.  If it doesn't crash in the new 
profile, then the other profile is corrupt profile.  If it does crash, 
then it might be something else, and I have no idea what.
