I posted this in "embedding" but no one replied, so am posting here.
I'm using Win 2000 and VS 2003

I've put together a very basic skeleton embedding app...but I'm having
some issues with it.

I tried to install the plugin from
http://player.virtools.com/downloads/playernetscape3.5.asp.  The popup
for if I wanted to "install or cancel" came up...then RIGHT after it
without clicking ANYTHING, another popup came up saying "Installation
stopped by user. Aborting setup.". Soooo...why does it think I'm
aborting the install? It works like it should in FireFox. Some return
value in one of my functions maybe? I'm not sure where to look from here.

Also, when I'm at www.google.com and I am tring to search for something,
it brings up the "The information you have entered is to be sent over an
unencrypted..." box. If I click "Continue", the box closes out but my
browser does NOT go anywhere...so it seems that my Gecko class is not
getting the "go ahead" event from clicking the "Continue" button on the
modal pop up warning box. The link between the two seems to be
broken....now, how to fix?

I can verify that when I click a button on the modal popup box, that my
nsIWebBrowserChrome::DestroyBrowserWindow () is being called. In that
function I'm destroying the nsIBaseWindow associated with the
nsIWebBrowser and then destroying my HWND. I am NOT implementing the
nsIWebBrowserChrome::ShowAsModal () or the
nsIWebBrowserChrome::ExitModalEventLoop () as I did not really have a
use for them.

I used both the mfc and win versions of examples for embedding to come
up with what I have now. Any and all help is much appreciated. Thanks
in advance!
