FF caused a Gen Fault Prot Error

While trying to use FFand "Free Download Manager" to download OpenOffice, I received a "Program will terminate" message. I would not be here asking for help, but when I searched this newsgroup for the following: free download manager open office This was returned: Your search - free download manager open office - did not match any documents. Anybody out there using Free Download Manager and had the same problem. This is Win98SE, 128Meg, Java Runtime Env. 5.0 Update 6, MS Net Framework 1.1 with newest service pack, defrag'ed hdd (10 days ago).
