I see:

but no version numbers. I searched for the files and they were 
v3.0.2.629 in C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\ and 
C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\.

I tried your registry trick. That worked! I forgot to mention that the 
office computer was cleaner than my home computer. I don't recall using 
a registry file. I guess I didn't have Mozilla installed when I 
installed WMP9/10?
