XML processing error

Hi there,

for several days (I think since I patched my OS -> SuSE Linux 9.2..) 
Mozilla has been displaying this error message whenever I try to file a 
bookmark (not when I just wanna add it):

XML-Verarbeitungsfehler: Schlecht formuliert
Adresse: chrome://communicator/content/bookmarks/addBookmark.xul
Zeile Nr. 1, Spalte 3:
ss"?>
--^

In English something like:
XML processing error: Badly expressed
Address: ...
Line no 1, column 3(...)

I'm using Mozilla 1.7.2. I've just uninstalled and reinstalled it, but 
the problem still exists.

Any suggestions?
