I updated just now to a fairly recent Mozilla 1.7 RC 3 - Released June
8, 2004
[Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7)
Gecko/20040608]

and also to 
Firefox 0.9 [Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7)
Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.8]

and the error is still here, in both browsers.
