newbie needs help

So I am trying to go through the sparce documentation on writing XPCom
components
in JavaScript.  I see some sample JS files in my moz and netscape dirs. . .

I think i have a pretty good understanding of how to write the actual code
for the component. . (maybe)
but I don't see any examples of using said component inside of the browser.

Could some one give me or point me to a begining to end example of how to
create, install and then use a component in the browser that is written in
JS?????  Please email me with your replies as well. . .
