Promised and delivered - more than two years ago! Check this group in 
August of 2000 and again in July/August of 2001. Unfortuneately SBC 
pulled my homepages which hosted the source code and I refuse to sign up 
with *gag* Yahoo DSL. I still have the old jsODBC code if anyone is 
curious. It was written in the moz 0.8 days so it would need some 
pruning to work in a moz 1.x world; biggest limitation was it worked on 
win32 only but some code from freeodbc.org should fix that.

However, I would recommend folks track Jan Varga's progress with RFE 81653.
