Re: problems with saveURI

perhaps the content from google and slashdot is compressed.  by default, 
the nsWebBrowserPersist object will not decompress downloaded content. 
you need to specifically set the persistFlags attribute before calling 
SaveURI.  see nsIWebBrowserPersist.idl for more info.
