Any way to enable Skia for Xulrunner Linux (x64)?

Trying some HTML5 Canvas demos left me somewhat in shock. 
The overall performance of Xulrunner/Firefox under Linux is shockingly bad (my best score in Penguin Mark was "1"). 

Now I read about Skia and was wondering whether this was already part of the nightly builds (I'm currently using 24.0b1). Is this so? And if it is indeed part of the nightly builds, how would I go about enabling it? Setting the azure backends to skia didn't work. Do I need to apply a patch of some sorts?
