Install files into res directory?

Is it possible to install files into the res directory during an
XPInstall?

The list of directories for which I can call getFolder here:
http://devedge.netscape.com/library/manuals/2001/xpinstall/1.0/Chap211.html#1012570
does not seem to include res.

The use case for this is that DTDs for XML documents are apparently
only loaded from chrome or the res/dtd directory (according to
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22942).
