Yes, I heard about that idea months ago, by chance. I was hoping
we'd get rights to the content before it went down.

As Mitchell writes, MF is still negotiating for rights to the content.

Given legal clearance, we should first mirror the entire site
as-is. That will get the content back up much faster than taking
the time to incorporate it into devmo. Once it's up, we can leave
that copy static and move articles over bit by bit as we update
them.

I just hope that AOL still has the source files for the website
on backup tapes somewhere. I'd rather not have to restore it from
the processed HTML.
