How do I install the plugin for Adobe Reader 6.0?

I have Adobe Reader 6.0 installed. Grom Reder, I choose Edit --> Preferences ---> Internet --> and check "DIsplay PDF in Browser". Yet, when surfing with Firefox, if I click on a PDF link, the link won't open Any ideas?
