Because Mozilla is > definitely not Congress. The First Amendment means quite simply that governments (at any level) cannot suppress political speech by any use (or show) of force. That's all. SCOTUS has several times ruled on what "political speech" is. The Amendment does not apply to "incitement to riot", a legal concept. Just what constitutes "incitement to riot" is not always obvious, however. The First Amendment definitely does not require any person (that includes businesses) to publish or disseminate anything they don't agree with. If anyone wishes to avoid Mozilla in future, I hope they will note the irony of objecting to Mozilla "deplatforming" voices Mozilla disagrees with. Odd that people who most object to "cancel culture" are so often the most vehement practitioners.
