For the sake of discussion, are the following rules censorship?
- Don't do any of the following yourself.
- Hate speech.
- Physical violence / abuse.
- Emotional violence / abuse.
- Anything illegal.
- Don't incite others to do any of the above.
I know that's an abbreviated list. But some form of them have been on
all rules / terms of service that I've read.
So, does terminating a users account after violating the above rules
multiple times count as censorship? -- IMHO, no, it does not.
My modus operandi is to give a warning on the first infraction,
temporary suspension on second infraction, and account termination on
third infraction. -- Maybe with a count reset after one year.
