You also didn't mention what operating system, browser and version and 
provide a sample link.

The mozilla.support.firefox newsgroup would be a better place for 
support, or <https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/>

Works for me for both https and http sites using Firefox 84.0.2 on 
Fedora Linux.
