I know.   Probably Apache using PHP and all that.   The question is not who 
or why, but how I can get that HTTP status to show up in FF somewhere.

Maybe not.   I've been googleing to how I can retrieve the HTTP status using 
JS or by way of the DOM, but got nowhere.

I've got GreaseMonkey installed.
