Re: Retrieving a webpages shows a blank screen when a 4xx HTTP status is returned. Not helpfull.

I doubt if my 13-year-old machine could cope with any more recent version of Windows even if I wanted it. If/when I need to change I will probably have to make the effort to learn some flavour of Linux, although which would be best I don't know - possibly Tails if it isn't a difficult one to use and enables me to in some way continue to use certain existing applications. It won't run on my 32-bit machine so I can't try it out yet. Jim Fisher
