And, if the point was that the important part of the message was in HTML, whether you can see it has nothing to do with Thunderbird; many news/email clients can display HTML - certainly I suspect any created or updated in the last decade; the one I'm using ceased development in 2007, and even that can interpret HTML formatting (though not scripts or online content). -- J.
