TB is released in many languages. Fluent is a system that allows the 
foreign-language text (menus, buttons, error messages, etc) - called 
'strings' - to be maintained separately from the code and included in 
the compiled release.

It's not just words and phrases, but plural forms, genders, forms of 
address (formal vs friendly, etc).
