If that is the case, I apologize. When I posted that follow-up I
couldn't even see the original message, so I was under the impression
this wasn't even posted on the newsgroup(s).

So let me rephrase:

The people who decided this are fucking assholes,  to only announce this
with a couple of days notice. Shows they don't care one bit about
Usenet.
