I am seeking an individual with expertise in the implementation of the Remedy package for an upgrade (5.01 to 6.0) on a Sun Unix platform for Help Desk trouble tickets and Change Management. The ideal candidate will possess skills in integrating the Remedy product with other applications (NetCool, Telalert, Bugzilla, etc.) - this will involve customization development work (Open Source knowledge is preferred). Individual will be responsible for configuring stand alone Sun Server which will run the Remedy application, as well as performing a Data Migration from the old system to the new one (data resides on Oracle 9i Database). This individual must be able to off flow charts and produce documentation, as well as build and deliver training (via a PowerPoint presentation) for internal users and administrators. Knowledge of the utilization of the messaging components of Remedy a must (client is looking for Remedy to interface with Lotus Notes to manage trouble tickets).
