Job description: 

responsible for the oversight of hardware and networking for a project. 

Typical responsibilities include: 

Manage requirements and specifications for 
Infrastructure
Terminal Network
Integration Software/Hardware
Training Environment

Facilities/Data Center

Determine Infrastructure milestones and communicate to PM for inclusion in overall 
project plan

Interface with the Project Lead BA to ensure Infrastructure requirements are managed 
appropriately on the project

Create detailed Infrastructure project plan

Staff projects with appropriate infrastructure resources

manage assigned resources; Review project costing and align with detailed plan

propose hours reallocation as necessary

Review Infrastructure requirements with Leads

Order and inventory equipment

Stage environments

Oversee configuration of production systems

Perform *local* fail over, anomaly and performance testing with Infrastructure 
team

Perform SimNet testing with Infrastructure team
Verify ordering of production circuits

Forward Cisco and IBM serial numbers to maintenance buyer
 
Manage all shipping and logistics related to infrastructure items procured for the 
project

Configure the Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) 

Environment and Training System

Manage the installation of all production equipment and configure the network

Liaise with SE and SPM to ensure all technical issues are resolved. 

Support Go-Live and Service transition activities

Financial Reporting 
status to Finance Lead
