Connector Developer
Job Description
The engineering team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic and
skilled developer for building Connectors on the Cast Iron Operating
System. The role offers the opportunity to work with cutting edge
technology in a dynamic, challenging environment.
Responsibilities
· Design, develop and maintain high performance, scalable connectors
on the Operating System
· Quickly learn new technologies and provide efficient Connector
implementations
· Support existing versions of Connectors
· Deliver high quality, robust, production level code
Job Qualifications
· 3+ years of Industry Software Development experience
· Excellent problem solving, analytical and diagnostic skills
· Experience in developing distributed systems, middleware products
or integration products
· Experience with server side development
· Strong knowledge of middleware technologies, distributed systems,
threading and transactions
Technology Skills
· Excellent Object Oriented design skills
· Excellent C/C++ skills with knowledge of Java preferred
· Excellent Java skills with good C/C++ knowledge okay
· High degree of comfort with Linux/Unix Operating Systems
· Knowledge of XML and related technologies
Desired Experience
· Experience in working with an RDBMS
· Experience in Unix Network programming
· Experience with Web Services and related technologies (WSDL, SOAP,
BPEL etc)
