(x-posted here. *Reply-to* set to netscape.public.mozilla.jobs) Hi: I need some advice: The company I work for (environmental consulting in Germany) is *looking to hire* a second IT administrator who will keep our network running and help our ~150 (non-IT) engineers when they have problems. We have placed an online ad, but have received very limited response. Here's our ad: http://stepstone.de/offers/offer_detail.cfm?click=yes&id=260297 1. Are we doing something wrong? What? 2. Should we include what benefits we offer? 3. Do qualified persons not want IT admin jobs? 4. What minimum salary and/or benefits should we be offering? Please give me a realistic response, and not some "dream" conditions. Thanks for any help you can provide. PS. You can answer in German, if you like. :-) PPS. x-posted because I suspect n.p.m.jobs might be (nearly) dead. Anyhow, I set a follow-up to "jobs", so I'm hopefully forgiven. -- Peter Lairo
