E-Learning Applications Developer
Contract/Department: Instructional Support Division
Work Schedule: 8:15 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or as determined by contract 
requirements
Location of Job: Arlington, VA

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•	Helps design, implement, document, test, and distribute multimedia 
applications.
•	Design and develop databases using content specifications.
•	Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
•	Performs a wide variety of multimedia and web implementation tasks.
•	Supports and grows application components, tools, and process models.
•	Freely collaborates and communicates with others to set and meet goals 
and deadlines.
•	Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related 
field and 3+ years experience in developing web or CD-ROM based 
multimedia applications. Applicant must have working knowledge of 
object-oriented programming, Client Server technology and Relational 
Database design plus good implementation skills in ASP, IIS, SQL-Server, 
C#, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT, ASP, SQL, the Internet Explorer 
document object model, and Flash. In addition, applicant should possess 
strong organizational and teamwork/communication skills. Additional 
experience with database design, SQL calls and procedures, distributed 
applications, interface usability, 508 accessibility, learning 
management systems, database driven designs, streaming media, MS 
Internet Information Server (IIS), and cross browser development are a 
plus.
