One more comment:

The intent of the MPL provisions is to allow people to know exactly what 
version MPL-licensed code you are including in your product. So if you 
do post diffs, then the right thing to do is to also post instructions 
on exactly how people can use those diffs to recover the complete set of 
SpiderMonkey code you're using.

For example, you could post specific instructions on how to download the 
base version from mozilla.org (either as a tarball or by checking it out 
from CVS using a particular tag) and then apply your particular diffs. 
Specifying the exact version of SpiderMonkey you started with is also 
helpful to people trying to figure out if a bug they're encountering is 
due to their own code or the SpiderMonkey code.
