Hello localizers First of all, I wanted to thank you all for the work and dedication you have put into translating Fennec (Firefox for Android) strings. As part of our plans to shift towards the Fenix browser, it won't be possible to add new locales to Fennec anymore. The locales in question are: ach, as ia jiv km ks lg ltg mai meh mix ny or pai quy qvi si sw tl tsz (if your locale does not appear here, you are not concerned by this email!) Since these locales are not shipping yet, we will be removing the project for these teams from Pontoon very soon. The translations that have been contributed to Fennec until now won’t be erased, and will be used as a resource for those locales who choose to localize Fenix - once we open Fenix to more locales (very soon). In fact, existing translations will remain in Mercurial repositories. If plans around Firefox for Android change in the near future, we'll be able to restore the project in Pontoon without losing any work. Please reach out to me directly if you have any questions or concerns. thank you! -- Delphine _______________________________________________ dev-l10n mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-l10n
