Hello localizers,

We are excited to announce that we are ready to start adding more locales
to Fenix. Since this product lives within the android-l10n project
<https://pontoon.mozilla.org/projects/android-l10n/> in Pontoon, I will
have to enable it for you, as you can not yet opt-in for just one product.
For those of you who may not know yet, android-l10n is a shared repository
that contains the unified English files from the Android projects
participating in this new l10n system - as well as the localized files for
them. Currently, android-l10n contains files and strings for Fenix browser
<https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix>, Android Components
<https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/android-components/>, Firefox Reality
<https://github.com/MozillaReality/FirefoxReality/> and Lockwise for Android
<https://github.com/mozilla-lockwise/lockwise-android/>.

Please note that we still don’t have a locale switcher in place, so please
only request your locale if you are 100% sure that it is widely supported
on current Android devices (so, available under the list of “Languages”
section under Settings, that you can choose from the device).

If you are a manager or translator, you can request that your locale be
activated by filling out this form: https://forms.gle/dL7MFLUm3bHikkdn6

I will start adding the locales little by little once the replies start
coming in.

Thank you!
