@Стоян: In your specific case, I will gladly "bypass" the current process and add the locale for you. Concerning the in-app locale switcher: please let's all assume good intentions here. The Fenix dev team is a very small team, and have a lot of features to implement and deal with. A language switcher is planned for sure, and it should be in the works during Q3. This discussion is happening around android-components, that way we can build upon it for our future products - and in the future this means an in-app locale switcher can be implemented from the start (or at least, much earlier on). Our team (l10n-drivers) has always been very vocal and has advocated for this in-app switcher right the moment that a Product team comes to us with an Android request. At the end of the day however, Product team is the decision-maker - not l10n-drivers. We can advise and push for this - which is what we've always done - but that's pretty much it. In any case, once this is part of android-components, this should solve the current problem going forward. thanks for your patience and understanding, Delphine On Wed, Jul 10, 2019 at 4:12 AM Michael Bauer <[email protected]> wrote: > I know re the switcher, I'm facepalming like I'm a flag in a force 7 > these days but re Android I'm getting conflicting reports to be honest, > it seems to depend (still) very much on the manufacturer, not so much > the version of Android.
