Assistance required.. can't post/publish

Hi.. I've been trying to get mozblog to work for a couple of days and 
just can't get it right. Assistance requested.

I am using Mozilla 1.0.1 , I have tried using both mozblog 6.6 and 
version 5.1

With version 5.1 I can get a listing of posts in my blog. However if i 
try to post or publish, nothing happens. Sometimes the status bar reads 
"Post saved" Sometimes it reads "There was no changes detected so no 
update was made (or something to that effect)"  and other times it just 
tells me i'm trying to update too often and to wait five minutes. No 
matter what when i check my blog there are no updates. I dont know if i 
got my settings messed up (dont think i do cause it shows existing posts 
made via blogger.com) or if i am posting and publishing in the wrong order.

Version 6.6 doesn't seem to do anything. Cant retrieve any posts and 
nothing gets pushed to my blog.

If it makes a difference, I am hosting my blog on my own server and my 
blogger settings are set to update via FTP. The server I am using in my 
mozblog setting is the plant.blogger server.
